Breastfeeding and the Second Trimester: Part 2

Are you getting bigger? You're probably a little more than bloated right now & likely even showing! Have you officially been asked by a random stranger if you are pregnant yet? Maybe starting to explore new pant options? Lol

I've got some good bump friendly clothes rounded up here because you are HALFWAY THERE!

Let's chat about the second trimester.

Many people consider this the honeymoon phase of pregnancy. You’re not so huge that you’re miserable, you may start feeling some kicks, and most moms feel better overall compared to the 1st and 3rd trimesters.

Here are some things you should begin focusing on:

  • Beginning a registry

  • Eating healthy

  • Staying active

    • Even just a daily stroll can go a long way in keeping your heart healthy! Here's a great bump friendly athleisure outfit😍

  • Taking date nights

    • If you're local: my favorite date nights are Gianmarco's Wine Bar, Slims, Frothy Monkey, El Barrio, and Bottega Cafe.

    • If you're not local: consider going somewhere with non-alcoholic drinks (they're becoming so common among local bars and restaurants) & maybe even splurge on an app or two

  • Researching breastfeeding classes (learn more about ours here!)

    • I have to harp on this because it will be a game changer

  • Creating a birth plan
