We are here to help you overcome feeding challenges and meet your breastfeeding goals from your own home.

You’re postpartum filled with questions about breastfeeding or preparing to care for your unborn child.

No matter what phase of motherhood you are in… feeding your baby is your top priority. Unfortunately, education and support in this area is lacking. So, we made it our job to make you feel prepared, confident, and encouraged about your breastfeeding journey. But ultimately, our main goal is healthy babies and happy mamas.

Meet Jordan Clarke, Founder, RN, BSN, IBCLC

I am a lactation consultant and former pediatric nurse. I have a deep love for children and I am passionate about serving moms and their babies.

I graduated with a Nursing Degree from Auburn University. While spending several years as an inpatient and outpatient pediatric nurse, I became a mom to a beautiful baby boy. Despite my years of educating moms on all things breastfeeding, I thought for sure I was prepared to start feeding my child effectively once he was born... I was wrong. I discovered the world of postpartum and breastfeeding that no one talks about or prepares you for. As a result, I made it my mission to make sure no mom feels alone, frustrated, or confused about how to feed her baby. I want to come alongside you in the midst of your breastfeeding journey (prenatal or postpartum) to problem-solve, educate, and encourage you.

Meet Valerie Grauel, RN, BSN, IBCLC

I am a pediatric nurse and lactation consultant. I love meeting moms where they are and helping them develop plans to achieve their specific goals.

I was a pediatric emergency room nurse for several years before moving to an outpatient pediatric setting where I’ve had the opportunity to spend more time with breastfeeding moms and their babies. My husband and I have lived in the Birmingham area for almost 10 years, and we have three young boys who keep us busy and active. While breastfeeding my own children, I realized the necessity for support during this unique season of life. I will forever be grateful for the encouragement and help I received while trying to navigate the many potential obstacles to breastfeeding. I love helping moms find ways to thrive during the newborn season and beyond. It is a sacred privilege to partner with families in this journey.

Meet Lindsey Salem, RN, BSN, IBCLC

I am a former labor and delivery nurse and lactation consultant. I am passionate about working alongside mothers and their babies to develop a personalized plan of care that allows them to meet their breastfeeding goals!

I have had the privilege of working with mothers and their babies for the last 11 years as a Registered Nurse in the hospital setting. I spent 6 of those years working as a Labor and Delivery/Postpartum nurse and the last 5 years as an inpatient Lactation RN/IBCLC. Throughout my experience as a bedside nurse and my own personal journey breastfeeding our 3 boys, I realized the value of breastfeeding education and support both in the prenatal and postpartum periods. I am passionate about equipping parents with the education, support, and tools they need to be successful in their breastfeeding goals. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of such a special time in your family's life!

Meet Tabitha Baker, RN, BSN, IBCLC

I am a pediatric nurse and lactation consultant. I have a deep passion for children and mamas. I am here to provide the information and the support you need to meet your breastfeeding goals all while supporting your family through the most rewarding transition of your life!

I graduated from UAB with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Go Blazers!) I worked at Children’s Hospital of Alabama as a nurse for 5 years. I, then, transitioned into my role as a lactation consultant where I still work with babies and moms (primarily in our Neonatal ICU and Cardiac ICU). After having my son, I thought breastfeeding was going great, until it wasn’t. Through the help of other lactation consultants, I was able to successfully breastfeed for as long as we wanted. Because of their help, I became even more passionate about educating moms and supporting lactation. Breastfeeding can be hard at first, but I’m here to help you to feel comfortable and confident. There are many ways to offer breastmilk to your baby and I want to help you with a feeding plan that works best for you and your family. I truly would be honored to work with you, wherever you are on your feeding journey!

Meet Courtney Parrish, RN, BSN, IBCLC

I am a former Neonatal ICU nurse and a lactation consultant. I love getting to help mamas and their new babies grow and thrive in their breastfeeding relationship.

I am an Auburn University nursing grad. I worked as a bedside nurse in pediatrics and the neonatal ICU for 8 years. I am now an IBCLC working in both the hospital and in-home setting. My husband and I stay busy chasing around our two little boys. I've always loved taking care of new babies. As a NICU nurse I was passionate about advocating for moms to have an active role in feeding their baby, so becoming a lactation consultant felt like a natural transition for me. While breastfeeding my own babies, I learned that having support is vital to a successful breastfeeding journey. No matter what stage of motherhood you are in, having a new baby is a big transition. My goal is to make feeding your baby a stress free and enjoyable bonding experience. It is an honor to have families welcome me into their lives during this special time!

Meet Meagan Curry, RN, BSN, IBCLC

I am a former pediatric nurse and lactation consultant. After my own breastfeeding journey and hearing other moms personal stories of struggle, guilt, and misinformation - it is my goal to help guide you to a place where you feel empowered and thankful for your breastfeeding journey.

I am an Auburn University graduate. After working for six years at the bedside, I had a strong desire to start helping mamas achieve their breastfeeding goals. My husband and I have two little boys who bring so much joy to our life. With our first child I desired to breastfeed, but never did any research or attend a breastfeeding class. I assumed we would quickly figure it out after delivery. I was a nurse and this was supposed to come so naturally along with all my other mothering intuition, right? After weeks of struggling I was able to get help from multiple lactation consultants. Their kindness, advice, and education were invaluable to me and our family. Because of that, my son and I were able to continue breastfeeding for as long as we desired. My goal is to make each mama feel supported, confident, and empowered in her breastfeeding and postpartum journey. What an honor it is to “mama” along side you!

Meet Hannah Meads, RN, BSN, IBCLC

I am a lactation consultant who has worked in Obstetrical Women’s health my whole nursing career. I love to educate parents about breastfeeding so that they can have a seamless transition into the 4th trimester. I have always loved babies and I find it such a joy to be able to work with them in their first days and weeks of life.

I graduated from Samford University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and worked for several years in an OBGYN clinic. I then transitioned to a role where I helped educate moms prenatally about lactation and what to expect during labor and delivery as well as their hospital stay. I have been helping moms with breastfeeding in the hospital setting for several years. I have three boys of my own. My twin boys were born with a rare genetic disorder and they really struggled with feeding. We tried latching, bottle feeding, supplementing with donor milk, supplementing with formula, fortifying, and eventually feeding tubes: NG tubes and Gtubes. We even had to do TPN (IV nutrition) at one point. Unfortunately, they did not receive their healing on this side of Heaven and at one year old walked into the arms of Jesus. I say all that to let you know, I have experience, professionally and personally, with all types of feeding options. I am committed to helping you come up with a plan that is best for you and your baby.
